Monitoring of seismic activity and noise around the Vuache Fault, France (RESIF-SISMOB)
Continous monitoring Vuache fault CMG40 100Hz
Abstract : Preliminary studies of Epagny earthquake (M4.3, 1996) shows that local seismic activity is correlated to hydraulic pressure loading of the Vuache fault. The aim of the campaign is to compute seismic velocity variation along asismic segment located few kilometers away from Epagny earthquake epicenter to ensure a better understanding of the spatial variation of seismic activity along the fault.
