Anisotropie_Vuache temporary nodes experiment deployed of a temporary node experiment to tomograph the Vuache faults, France (RESIF-SISMOB)
Annecy 2024 Nodes Interferometrie
Abstract : Objective: study of the anisotropy in the damaged zone of the Vuache fault in the volume where the M5.3 Epagny-Annecy earthquake took place in 1996, to compare it with that found in the northern, so-called aseismic segment. This highly urbanised region is monitored by 5 RAP stations, whose recordings show marked seasonal variations in seismic velocities, up to 2 km deep. MT studies (40 sites) also allow us to evidence the damaged area. We require 100 5-Hz nodes between February and May 2024.
