Temporary deployment 3-component medium-band seismic data

Abstract : The main goal of this deployment is to contribute to a multi-disciplinary effort to characterize the structure, deformation, and current seismicity of Kerguelen Island (Indian Ocean). The deployment will include up to 10 seismic stations, distributed so as to cover most regions of the island, except for the integral natural preserve region on the island’s west coast. The duration of the deployment will be between 1 and 3 years, depending on installation date of the individual stations and logistical constraints inherent to seismological deployments in remote and inaccessible regions.
